This amethyst molded glass vase by Marius Ernest Sabino (1878-1961) dates from circa 1925 and is known as "La Danse". It features neoclassical female dancers and other decorations in high relief, in the ancient Roman style. Underside signed with SABINO and FRANCE impressed marks on the inside. Excellent condition. There are scratches along the underside, consistent with age, and a tiny chip loss at the edge fo the rim. Measures: 8" H X 6.5" Dia (20.3 cm H X 16.5cm Dia).

This beautiful glass vase has elements of Art Nouveau and Art Deco style, and was hand blown into a wrought iron frame featuring elegant handles, organic motifs including tree branches and leaves, and is set upon ball feet. Glass colors of red and orange transition to brilliant yellow. Acid-etched stencil mark on underside reads FRANCE, but we have not found a maker's mark. Believed to be from Le Verre Francais by Schneider. Condition is very good...

This Coquilles opalescent bowl with scallop shell motif is mounted with silver around the rim. Measures 8.2" across and 3.3" tall. Believed to date from the 1920s or 1930s. Condition is very good, with scratches, consistent with age, but not visible cracks or restorations. Silver alloy is unknown and unfortunately we do not have closeups of the silver assay marks. Though not apparent in our images, this bowl is crafted from opalescent glass.

This pretty figurine depicts Brighella, from the series of Commedia del' Arte figurines designed by Fulvio Bianconi for Venini in the 1940s. Top of the base in front bears the three-line, acid-etched, stenciled mark used from 1946 through 1965, which reads VENINI MURANO ITALIA. Weighs 1.6 lbs. Condition is excellent, with no losses or restorations. Dimensions: 12.2" H X 3.5" W X 3.5" D (31.0cm H X 8.9cm W X 8.9cm D)

This unique and large blown glass vase features bands of applied canes with zanfirico rods, applied to a patchwork ground with bands of iridescent red and blue glass. There are no hallmarks, but the Rago auction house has attributed the piece to Arte Vetraria Muranese. Possibly designed by Giulio Radi who created works for AVEM from 1932 to 1950, or even Dino Martens. Dimensions: 13" H X 8.5" W (33.0cm H X 21.6cm W).

This vase by Ludovico Diaz de Santillana (1931-1989) exhibits his Canneto design (meaning grove of reeds in Italian) with tiny elongated teardrop bubbles throughout. Base and top have their original ground and polished surfaces, and the underside has the etched signature "Salviati". The sides are very thick, approximately 0.5 in (1.3 cm). Condition is excellent. There are relatively few scratches to the bottom surface and no chips or visible cracks, and no deep scratches as well...

This pretty figurine by Tyra Lundgren (1897-1979) was made by Venini circa 1935-1940. It is in very good condition with only a few noticeable scratches and no visible cracks, losses or repairs. Underside has the Venini stencil etched hallmark. Weighs 3.5 lbs. Dimensions: 7" H X 11" W X 3.5" D (17.8cm H X 27.9cm W X 8.9cm D).

This delightful bird figurine is attributed to Antonio da Ros (Italian, 1936- ) for Gino Cenedese, circa 1959-1965. It is in excellent condition, with no deep scratches, visible cracks or chips. Unsigned. Weighs 3.0 lbs. Dimensions: 6.3" H X 5" W X 6" D (15.9cm H X 12.7cm W X 15.2cm).

This glass goblet with banana motif by the important American studio glass artist, Robert Levin (1948- ), is entitled Cup with Appeal.
