This is a beautiful blue-grey wisteria lamp by Tiffany. Dimensions: 25.75 in tall, 18 in across (65.4 cm tall, 45.7 cm across). It features textured glass from the Kokomo Opalescent Glass Works, sharply defined blossom clusters, and bronze tree base with green patination and four standard size sockets. Lamp also has cloth-sheathed wiring dating from prior to 1930. The lamp is working, but does need to be rewired to meet current safety codes...

This oil on canvas by the Swiss-born painter, Jacques Laurent Agasse (1767-1849) is entitled The Toy Boat. Modern carved giltwood frame measures 40.75" by 50" by 3". Stretcher measures 32" by 41.25". There is a very old repair to the canvas on verso in the lower right corner, and suspected in-painting on front over this area. We have not inspected the work under UV light...

We are proud to present two of the largest and most impressive examples of Japanese animal carving we have seen in our career. Depicting fierce eagles with raised wings, perched upon rock with squirrels at their feet, each measures approximately 47" tall, 32" across and 30" deep (119 by 81 by 76 cm). Neither is signed and their condition is good. There are scratches, stress cracks, wear and small losses, including to the tail, and talon of one figure. Price upon request.

This extraordinary palace size urn in the Sevres style, circa 1890-1900, measures 66 by 22 by 16 in (167 by 56 by 41 cm). It features a beautiful painting of a cloud-born muse surrounded by cherubs, and is signed by the artist, Maxant. It also has large gilt bronze mounts including cherubs nestled in foliate designs at the shoulders, pomegranate finial, and pedestal. Condition is very good. Glazed finish shows craquelure and there are no known restorations or visible damages.
