This lovely vitrine by Francois Linke (1855-1946) dates from the early twentieth century. It is signed " F LINKE " on the top of the door and also signed on the bronze railing mount on the left upper side. It measures 52" wide, 45.5" tall and 14.5" deep (132.1 cm by 115.6 cm by 36.8 cm). This large desk by Joe Ginsberg of New York, is crafted from solid mahogany with a chocolate brown finish, with a one inch thick, architectural, acid-etched glass top in shimmering blue-green with patches of rust color. This fabulous sideboard, attributed to the French designer, Jean Pascaud (1902-1996) features a black lacquered finish and tambour doors with parchment veneers. Finish is not original and is in very good condition. There is one noticeable scratch on the top, a few minor, shallow scratches, and some craquelure noticeable at the corners and sides of the top surface. Measures 53.3" wide, 35.7" high and 16.7" deep. It was purchased from Newel LLC, New York, NY, for $28,500.

This monumental soft paste porcelain vase measures 37.5" tall, dates from circa 1870 and has been attributed to Limoges France. It features four figures in renaissance style costume, including a musician, a pair of lovers, a female server and men celebrating with beer steins in hand. There are no hallmarks. This item resides in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City and may be seen in person by appointment.
