This unique side table by Fontana Arte dates from the 1950s and features four cascading clear glass surfaces shaped in wedges which extend from a center pole measuring 47" tall. This beautiful antique porcelain centerpiece by Sevres measures 12.75" across and 10" high. Underside carries the painted marks "S 86" and the "Dore Sevres 88" suggesting the piece was designed in 1886 and likely produced in 1888, shortly after the start of the Third Republic. Condition is excellent. There are no chips or visibl cracks, and only light scratches. There are two small spots in the center where the cobalt color is lightened...
This antique trade guild goblet with lid (or humpen) is dated 1658 and likely comes from the German state of Hesse. It features extensive enamel painted decoration including the symbols for five distinctive guilds. It appears to read " Kurfurstenhumpen Deckelhumpen REICHSADLERHUMPEN " with the names Hanß Bruchman Michel Biltcher and Hanß (F)ondman ". Writing on the rear has not been translated. It measures 17" tall and 6.75" across, and the beaker alone without top measure 13" tall...

This vintage marble-top occasional or side table with iron work and swirling designs in the manner of Edgar Brandt, was recently imported from Paris France. Measures 23.5" wide and 21" high. Features a top of green marble with streaks of light and dark color.
This pair of antique Meiji period bronze vases feature cold-painted flying cranes and Japanese flora designs in high relief. Condition is very good, with no deep scratches or dents. Each measures 11.7 in tall and 6.2 in across (29.7 cm and 15.9 cm).
This Wavelength sofa, designed in 2000 by Karim Rashid, features cast aluminum legs and frame, silver vinyl on the edges, and black leather-like vinyl upholstery on the seat and seat back. Condition is very good. There are some scuffs to the silver upholstery on the seat, and a few noticeable but light scratches to the black seating surface. Seat height is 16.25 in (41.3 cm). Height: 30.2 in. (76.71 cm) Depth: 31 in. (78.74 cm) Width: 71 in. (180.34 cm).
This delightful round coffee table is a prototype designed in 1993 by Masanori Umeda (Japanese, 1941- ). It features a laminate top in the shape of a soccer ball, with four metal legs with brushed finish and rubber feet in the form of soccer ( football ) boots. Masanori was born and educated in Japan, and moved to Milan in 1967 to work in the design studio of Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. In the 1970s he was a design consultant for Olivetti where he met Ettore Sottsass...

This original Ribbon Chair (model F582), designed in 1965 by Pierre Paulin, dates from the 1960s and was recently restored. This chair was crafted from wood, bent tubular steel, foam padding and fabric. Restoration included removal of old upholstery, replacement of foam padding, stripping and refinishing of base. Measures 27.75 inches (70.5 cm) high. There are remnants of an old label on the underside, but no other hallmarks...
Included here is a matching pair of antique gilt bronze wall sconces featuring semi-nude female figures and frosted glass globes. Each requires new sockets and wiring which we will be happy to complete at an additional cost. Each measures 20" tall, 9.5" wide and 7" deep (50.8 cm, 24.1 cm and 17.8 cm). These fixtures reside with our client in midtown Manhattan (New York City) and may be seen in person by appointment.
This pair of gilt metal and cut glass sconces, attributed to Maison Jansen, feature their distinctive cup-shaped drip pans decorated with inserted faceted crystals. Each has two old (likely original) european sockets and wiring. We may add U.S. standard sockets and wiring for an additional cost. We also have a Maison Jansen chandelier in the same style.
