This lovely antique vase in the Japanese Imari style is an exceptional example of Chinese export porcelain. It features ormolu bronze mounts including female lions clawing at grapevines, pedestal in the Rococo style and a simple mount decorating the rim. All gilded surfaces are original. Measures 20 in (50.8 cm) tall.

This large Martaban mottled brown-glazed earthenware jar measures an impressive 34.5" tall and 31" across, and features writhing dragons across the shoulder and sides. Dyed and braided bamboo decorates the neck. Its condition is very good. There are no repairs or serious damages, but there are some chips from along the bottom edge. We believe this piece is relatively new, probably dating from the late twentieth century...
This antique Bacchus themed terracotta sculpture after Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (1824-1877) depicts a group of cherubs stomping wine grapes. It dates from the late nineteenth century and measures 16.25" (41 cm) tall and 20.5" (52 cm) wide. It is signed "Carrier-Belleuse". Our price is firm.
Included here is a matching pair of gilt bronze singled candle wall sconces in the French Louis XVI style, featuring tied ribbon motif, beaded decoration and blooming and blossoming flower heads. This glass goblet with banana motif by the important American studio glass artist, Robert Levin (1948- ), is entitled Cup with Appeal. It dates from circa 1977 and is in excellent condition, with no visible cracks, losses or deep scratches. We have not found a signature. Weighs 1.0 lbs. This female portrait dates from the third or fourth quarter of the nineteenth century, and is likely of American origin. We have not found a signature. It resides in an old frame, but which is not likely original to the painting. Frame measures 37 by 31.5 in and the stretcher measures approximately 25 by 30 in. Condition is very good. There are no visible losses and some degree of craquelure, and the surface appears to have been varnished sometime in the recent past...

This pretty figurine by Tyra Lundgren (1897-1979) was made by Venini circa 1935-1940. It is in very good condition with only a few noticeable scratches and no visible cracks, losses or repairs. Underside has the Venini stencil etched hallmark. Weighs 3.5 lbs. Dimensions: 7" H X 11" W X 3.5" D (17.8cm H X 27.9cm W X 8.9cm D).

This Cyclone side table, designed by Isamu Noguchi and first produced in 1954, dates from the 1950s or early 1960s and features a white laminate top, black enamel coated wire frame and metal base. It measures 24" high and 20" across. Original Knoll label on the underside of the table top. Condition is excellent. There are a few small nicks to the edge of the top...
Included here is a pair of matching antique cast bronze sconces in the neoclassical style, featuring green patinated finishes and enamel painted tole metal flowers. Each has candelabra sockets and candle covers, plus remnants of old wiring which must be replaced. (We can rewire for an additional cost.) Each measures 15.5" tall, 9.75" wide and 3.75" deep. This wonderful table with white ceramic and shimmering glass tiles dates from the 1950s and is in good condition. Its diameter is 40" and height is 13". Original wooden legs are unfinished and have brass feet, and screw into the underside for easy transport and assembly. There are no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. Geometric design in center is crafted from shimmering brown, grey, black and golden colored cut glass tiles.
Included here is a pair of dore bronze wall sconces with neoclassical, figural blue and white Jasperware porcelain plaques. Each measures 11.5" tall, 3.25" wide and 7.25" deep. Neither has internal wiring nor sockets, but we will be happy to add hardware for a modest fee. These items reside in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
