This lovely bisque porcelain statue depicts a seated, nude female. It carries the mark which was used from 1934 to 1956. It has no losses or cracks, but could use a gentle cleaning. The artist's hallmark appears to be HN or AN. Height: 13 in. (33.02 cm). Depth: 7.5 in. (19.05 cm). Width: 12 in. (30.48 cm). Additional images forwarded upon request.
This vintage brass coffee or tea service, attributed to Salvador Teran, features turquoise and brown inlaid tiles. Tray measures 16.5" by 15" (41.9 by 38.1 cm) and the coffee/tea pot measures 8.5" tall (21.6 cm). Condition overall is very good. There are some dings and dents here and there. We have found no signature. A dealer in Los Angeles has the same set in different tile color on www.1stdibs.com for $1,650.
This pair of vintage brass candlesticks are unsigned, and closely resemble the Alpha and Delta designs by Robert Jarvie. They have tulip forms on long stems with circular feet. This style of stem was found on the Alpha and Delta models, but the candle holders very closely resemble the Alpha model, while the base and lower portion of the stem resembles closely the Delta model. They retain their original lacquered surface and they would benefit from a gentle cleaning and polishing...
This lamp from the early twentieth century features a cast bronze Roman male figure set upon an onyx stone pedestal on bronze base with ball feet. It has modern wiring and is ready for use. This lovely antique black papier mache pedestal table features a delightful rural scene with tall tree, shrubs, butterfly and a castle made from mother-of-pearl inlay. Scalloped edge features a repeating gold pattern. Measures 26.5" high (40" high with top in vertical position), 26.25" long and 22.5" wide. Top locks in place. This table is likely of continental (european) origin, not asian. Possibly French or English. There has been some restoration to the edges including the gold decoration...

This is beautiful serving table has its original silverplate tray and dates from the late 20th century. Measures 22.75" high by 16.25" wide by 11" deep with tray in place. Tray measures 16.25" wide by 11" deep by about 1.5" high. Tray has no hallmarks. Plating is still intact overall but is worn in a few spots on the underside to reveal the copper underneath. Possibly of American or European origin.
This hand-blown shallow bowl centerpiece by the French maker Schneider is believed to date from the 1920s or 1930s, and has a lovely green color with bubbles of various sizes. Measures 15.5 by 14.5 by 2 inches. Signed on the underside. Condition is excellent. There are no deep scratches nor cracks or chips. Foot shows flea bite scratches, consistent with age.
This exceptional miniature painting is signed "J Brandl" and may be a work by the important Bohemian painter, Petr Johannes Brandl (1668-1739) or a follower of the artist. This fine Art Deco period glass vase with bubbles and oxides, circa 1930, by Legras et Cie, features an etched and green enamelled decorative band across the middle depicting stylized comets. Measures 8.75" high and 4.5" across and weighs 2 lbs. 8 oz. Condition is excellent. There are a handful of noticeable scratches close to the lip on one side as seen in our images below.
This Sheffield plate handled basket measures 13.75" long by 11.75" wide and 4.5" high at the top of the basket, and 11" high to the top of the handle when upright. Impressed marks are indecipherable. This is likely an example of european "fused plate" (Sheffield plate as called in England). Could be from Norway or Denmark.
