This lovely Austrian cold-painted bronze lamp, possibly from Franz Bergman, features the reclining figure of a semi-nude Ottoman princess underneath a lantern, catered to by a child servent and semi-nude female with a fan. Measures about 16 in (38 cm) tall, and the bronze measures 9.2 in (23 cm) wide and 6.2 in (16 cm) deep. The bronze is set upon an onyx stone plinth. We have not removed the plinth to inspect for hallmarks, and are selling this lamp "as-is".

This extraordinary globe on stand was made by Creazioni C.A.M. of Mantua Italy, circa 1956, and features uniquely carved surfaces depicting the continents and ocean floors. Carvings are possibly made of plaster or other similar composition which has been painted. Contour lines have been carved in high relief to depict the depths of the oceans beneath a clear plastic sphere which represents the surface of the oceans...

This fabulous Vertical Wave screen, fashioned by Susan Woods from poplar bentwood, was made in 2007 and is a part of her New Wave Line of bentwood creations. The screen was purchased directly from the artist and is in new condition. Measures 84.5" by 35" by 13" (214.6 cm by 88.9 cm by 33 cm). Depth of the base is 13" but the piece leans slightly for a total depth of 15". The piece may stand alone as a room divider or screen, or placed against a wall as a decoration...

This serigraph with embossing, hand-torn edges and painting by Orlando Botero (Columbian-American, 1946- ) is entitled Reflejo, and dates from 1990. Number 28 from an edition of 30. Under glass in frame with black lacquered finish. Print itself measures approximately 50 by 70 in (127 x 178 cm). Original certificate from Engman Limited included. Dimensions: 62" H X 86.5" W X 2" D (157.5 cm H X 219.7 cm W X 5.1 cm D).

Included here is a pair of antique Japanese Imari porcelain covered urns dating from the late nineteenth or very early twentieth century. Each measures 12.5" wide and 15" high. Possibly by Samson. Provenance provided upon request. Each features neoclassical bronze mounts and the lids have been affixed via hardware to the pots. Bronze mounts hide the undersides of the pots and there are no identifying hallmarks...

This delightful old bronze Japanese sculpture depicts a gentleman making sake. It measures 25" tall, 16" wide and 14" deep (63.5 cm by 40.6 cm by 35.6 cm). It carries the signature of Sano Takachika and dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Sano Takachika is known to have worked for the Imperial family, and has many works still held in the Imperial Collections of Japan...

This fabulous bronze from the late nineteenth century depicts Napoleon Crossing the Alps, after the oil paintings by Jacques-Louis David which were completed between 1801 and 1805. It measures 16 by 16 by 8 inches (40.6 by 40.6 by 20.3 cm) and weighs an estimated 30-45 lbs. (13.6-20.4 kg). The quality of the casting is exceptional, as seen in the details on Napoleon's face, uniform and sword. Patina color features warm shades of brown with hints of forest green color...

Included here is a pair of French gilded bronze brackets from the mid to late nineteenth century, featuring their original hand-painted porcelain plaques each depicting a unique portrait of a lady of the court. Believed to date from the Napoleon III period (1848-1870). They have an architectural form with neoclassical elements, including brackets, rosettes, reed-and-tie molding and swag and drapery designs. They each measure 10.5" wide, 8.5" tall and 4.5" deep, and each weighs an estimated 8-12 ...

This pair of matching ormolu and patinated cast bronze candelabra of the early nineteenth century exhibit the highest level of craftsmanship and design from the late Georgian period. They have six candle arms, wonderfully ornate foliate decoration, plus lion figures on raised feet set upon a plinth. Patina is old and there is no sign of regilding or restoration of any kind. This pair of candelabra reside with our client in New York City and may be seen in person by appointment.
