This wonderful opaline glass chandelier dates from circa 1890 and features eight candle arms (now electrified) and clear hurricane shades. There are minor losses, consistent with age, and noticeable wear to the gilding as seen in our images. Measures 44" tall and 33" across (112 and 84 cm).
This set of oriental inspired nesting tables with faux bamboo legs crafted from gilt brass date from the 1940s and is in good condition. Measures of the largest table: 26" wide, 23" tall and 16" deep. There are scratches and wear to the gilt finish which are consistent with age. ( Japanese Chinese Asian )
Included here is a pair of rectangular Chinese ceramic urns with lids and neoclassical gilt bronze mounts, mounted on giltwood footed bases with modern lighting hardware and wiring. Each measures 26" tall and 11" square. Porcelain alone measures 14" tall and 8" square. Possibly from Samson of Paris.

This pair of very tall porcelain vases date from the nineteenth century and are likely from Paris. Each features hand-painted figural scenes depicting females and cherubs in neoclassical settings on salmon colored ground. Gilding decorates the handles, base and rim. They were drilled and mounted, most likely for use as table lampes, sometime in the early twentieth century, and mounting clay residue remains on the underside of one vase. Each is in very good condition...
This pair of figural candelabra depicting cherubs feature the highest level of craftsmanship, including finely detailed engine turned decoration on the socles. Believed to date from the second quarter of the nineteenth century. The pair were electrified in the early twentieth century and remnants of their 1920s era wiring still remain. (We will be happy to rewire as needed at no cost prior to shipment.) Condition is excellent. Original patina is intact...

This tall figurine of Napoleon by Emile Coriolan Hyppolyte Guillemin (1841-1907) measures an impressive 38.5" tall, 10.5" wide and 10.2" deep. (Black marble pedestal shown is not included, but is available for purchase separately.) We have found no foundry mark, but have not inspected the underside of the bronze. It is signed " Guillemin " in the cast. Additional images forwarded upon request.
This wonderful grisaille oil on canvas in monochrome shades of brown dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century, and resides in a period frame with raised, three-dimensional swags of bellflowers and ribbons carved in gesso. The work is unsigned, but quality of the putti figures is exceptional...
This pretty two-tiered etagere table in the French Louis XV style dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. It is crafted from kingwood and rosewood and feature foliate marquetry inlay on both tiers. It has brass molding and foliate and figural dore bronze mounts and sabots. The table measures 36" tall, 31" wide and 20" deep.
Included here is a pair of antique bronze figurines depicting a female wielding a sword and another stroking a harp. Each measures approximately 15" tall and 6" across. We have found no hallmarks.

This delightful gesso carved group of cherubs dates from the late nineteenth century and measures 34" tall, 24" wide and 16" deep. An allegory to earth and water, depicted is a cherub spilling water from an urn with another cherub drinking from a shell. There are no hallmarks. It features a faux marble giltwood pedestal. Its design and exceptional construction suggest it comes from the studio of a master, such as Henri Dasson of Paris. Condition is good...
