These polychrome glazed terracotta busts depict elegant male and female Moors, and are signed GR. They are of German or Austrian ( Austro-Hungarian ) origin and date from the last quarter of the nineteenth century. They reside on turned wooden pedestals. Each has obvious chip losses here and there, and stress cracks to the wooden socles. We are not familiar with the hallmark, and believe it may be an early mark by Goldscheider...

This metallic blue glazed porcelain bowl by Maling Coronet of England dates from as early as the 1890s, and is in very good condition. There are no visible cracks or losses. Dimensions: 5.2" H X 18" Dia (13.3cm H X 45.7cm Dia).
This pair of antique porcelain vases feature Greco-Roman figural scenes painted on a red ground, with gilding at the foot and rim. They are unsigned and numbered on undersides. Condition of each is very good. There is one small chip from the underside of one foot, and not visible repairs. There is some clear blistering to the surface which is likely from application of a very thin layer of varnish or other sealant. Measures: 16.3" x 7.5" (41.3 cm x 19.1 cm).

This pair of porcelain vases by KPM date carry the Reichsapfel Marke of the mid nineteenth century. One has an old and poor restoration to a break above the pedestal. We can have this area professionally restored to the highest standards. Otherwise, they are in very good condition. Each is estate-fresh and could use a gentle cleaning.

Included here is a pair of nineteenth century porcelain stands by Jacob Petit, and pair of complimentary porcelain decanters. Pedestals each measure 8.5" by 8" by 2.5" and the pair weighs 4 lbs. 5 oz. Each has a few short firing cracks, and one has losses at each of the lion masks on each side. Each carries the familiar Jacob Petit blue mark under glaze on the underside. The decanters date from the nineteenth century and are unmarked aside from red numerals on the undersides...

This red japanned tallcase clock in the chinoiserie fashion dates from the mid to late eighteenth century, and has a movement attributed to the London clock maker, William Jackson. Movement resides behind glass and may be accessed from sides and rear, and the mechanism was not secured snugly against the front face of the cabinet at time of photography. Dial above the face carries the Latin phrase "Tempus Fugit" (time flies). Full condition report available upon request.

This extraordinary cased glass chandelier features blue, white and clear overlay glass, decorated with painted enamels, bells, crystals, and twelve hurricane shades. No electric sockets or wiring, but we may add for an additional cost prior to shipment. It is of Bohemian origin, but we do not know the maker. It was designed, circa 1900, for the Ottoman market ( Islamic, Middle Eastern ), specifically Syrian, Persian ( Iranian ) or Arabian markets. Condition is excellent.

This lovely nineteenth century Satsuma vase features foo dogs with rings at the neck, and elaborate applied figural decorations with enamel, and giltwood base. There are some minor losses to the enamel decorations, consistent with age. There is a crack to the applied cat figure, and a crack to one of the applied male figures, which may both date from the time of firing. This item is fresh from estate sale and we have not removed the base to inspect for marks...
