This antique lantern is crafted from painted and gilded wood and features hand-painted silk panels depicting exotic birds, and white porcelain finials. It suspends from a tole metal ceiling plate via twisted red cord. All surfaces appear to be original and there are no signs of restoration. There are tears to each of the silk panels. There is no internal wiring or sockets, but we can add these to our customer's specifications prior to shipment...
This pair of antique bronze chenets ( firedogs ) depict a horned male figure and female figure, and figural cherubs and other neoclassical ornamentation including lion masks with rings, holly wreaths and scrolling foliate legs. These andirons will compliment any classical decor such as English Regency ( Georgian ) or French Louis XIV or XVI. Each measures 38" tall, 17" wide and 11" deep (96.5 cm by 43.1 cm by 27.9 cm).
This vintage acrylic lamp likely dates from the 1970s and is in very good condition. Fully wired and ready for use. Measures 30.5" tall to the top of the finial and 6" across.
This wonderful oil painting by Joseph Paulman (British, 19th-20th Century) depicts a Dutch landscape at sunset with windmill and walking path along a marsh and village in the background. Canvas measures 24 x 36 inches and frame measures 29 x 40.5 x 1.5 inches. Frame is old but not from the period of the painting, and bears a brass nameplate with the title of the work, "After the Rain". Condition is very good. There are two very old, professional restorations to tears...
This hand-blown shallow bowl centerpiece by the French maker Schneider is believed to date from the 1920s or 1930s, and has a lovely green color with bubbles of various sizes. Measures 15.5 by 14.5 by 2 inches. Signed on the underside. Condition is excellent. There are no deep scratches nor cracks or chips. Foot shows flea bite scratches, consistent with age.
This Art Deco period glass vase, blown out into wrought metal frame with organic swirls, tree branches and leaves, has been attributed to Le Verre Francais by Schneider. Measures 11.7 by 6.5 inches (29.8 by 16.5 cm). We have not found a signature. Condition is excellent. There are no damages of any kind.

This sculptural vase in amber and various shades of green, circa 1970s, was hand blown by the noted Czech artist, Pavel Hlava (1924-2003). Signed "P Hlava" with "Czechoslovakia". Condition is excellent. There are no damages and no deep scratches. Hlava was one of the great Czech glass blowers of the last half of the twentieth century. His works are included in the permanent collections of dozens of leading modern art museums around the world, including the Corning Museum of Glass...
This pair of ceramic table lamps by Moorcroft date from the late 1910s to 1930s and are in excellent condition. There are no signs of damage or repair. They measure 23.5 inches to the top of the finials and 5.5 inches across (59.7 by 14 cm). Each has its original hardware and modern wiring.

This delightful secretary features hand-painted trompe l'oeil decoration with an Italian theme. It measures 40.75" wide, 81" tall and 21" deep (103.5 by 205.7 by 53.3 cm). Condition is very good. There are some minor losses here and there, and wear to the area around the escutcheon and at the foot of the front left leg. We will be happy to have these areas professionally refinished at our expense prior to shipment...

This very large and outstanding hexagonal shaped lantern in gilt bronze features six electrified candle arms, and exceptional casting with figural cherubs and neoclassical female figures. It has modern wiring and is ready for installation.
This delightful painting after the Italian painter, Antonio Paoletti De Giovanni (1834-1912), depicts a family enjoying a picnic at seaside. Canvas is clean and in good condition. It is signed in the lower right corner "Antonio Paoletti De Giovanni Venezia". Frame measures 33 x 25 x 3 inches, and canvas measures 28 by 20 inches.
Included here is a matching set of four antique bronze sconces, each featuring two candle arms, gadrooned wall plate and crystal pendants with etched floral decoration. Measurements are approximate. Each has been newly wired with new sockets which accept candelabra size bulbs. There are no hallmarks and the maker is unknown. Their style is distinctly English Georgian, but will compliment any neoclassical decor such as French Louis XVI or Empire, or American Federal.
This pair of dore bronze sconces feature mirrored backs, three electrified candles, crystal beads and neoclassical ornamentation including anthemions, rosettes and s-shaped scrolls. They both have modern sockets and wiring and are ready for installation.
This framed etching by James Abbott McNeill Whistler (1834-1903) depicts an elderly woman seated and working in a cramped kitchen, and is known as La Vieille aux Loques from "Twelve Etchings from Nature" from 1858. It is recorded in Kennedy book as plate 21. Frame measures 13 by 17 by 0.6 inches and the plate measures 5.75 by 8.25 inches.

This vintage tea and coffee service by Rosenthal dates from the early to mid twentieth century. Included is a coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, sugar bowl, five cups, eleven saucers and 12 plates. Coffee pot measures 9 x 11.5 x 6 inches. Tea pot measures 8.5 x 4.5 by 5.5 inches. Diameter of the plates is 7.5 inches and diameter of the saucers is 6.5 inches. Condition is excellent.
