This oriental ceramic bowl features extensive bronze mounts (including handles, beaded rim and reticulated pedestal) and incised decorations under dark green glaze, including stiff leaves, stylized Greek key and dragon head shapes. It measures 13.5" wide and 8.75" tall. Condition is excellent, with no signs of damage or repair. Age and origin are unknown, but we suspect it dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century...

Included here is a monumental pair of porcelain urns measuring 44" tall and 18.5" wide (111.8 cm and 47 cm), featuring painted scenes depicting muses on a cobalt blue ground, with the monogram of King Louis Philippe (1773-1850) on the reverse. They are believed to date from the late nineteenth century or possibly the period of Napoleon III (third quarter of the nineteenth century). Condition of each is exceptional, with no signs of restoration or damage. Provenance provided upon request...
Included here is a matching pair of bronze two-candle wall sconces from the late nineteenth century. Each measures 24" tall and 12" wide. They are of neoclassical form, with rectangular fluted column accented with bellflowers, with floral motif at the base, pomegranite finial, and leafy arms with simple candle drip pans. They are crafted from cast bronze, brass and ebonized wood, have modern wiring and are ready for immediate use. Included here is a matching pair of antique hand-painted porcelain vases, likely of French origin, converted into lamps in the early twentieth century. They feature classical ( Roman or Greek ) chariot racers painted on one side. Above and below the scenes are repeating Greek key motifs spanning the circumference, and three-dimensional antelope heads are applied at the shoulder. These vases were mounted on metal pedestals and sockets and wiring were added in the early twentieth century...

This delightful old bronze Japanese sculpture depicts a gentleman making sake. It measures 25" tall, 16" wide and 14" deep (63.5 cm by 40.6 cm by 35.6 cm). It carries the signature of Sano Takachika and dates from the late nineteenth to early twentieth century. Sano Takachika is known to have worked for the Imperial family, and has many works still held in the Imperial Collections of Japan...
Included here is matching pair of cut crystal obelisks with gilded metal mounts and pedestals, circa 1920s. Each measures 33" tall and 6.5" wide and deep. Condition is very good. The only visible loss is a small chip at the corner of one obelisk near the base. They are unmarked and the maker is unknown. Likely of continental origin, possibly French. This pair reside with our client in midtown Manhattan in New York City, and may be seen in person by appointment.

Included here is a pair of antique alabaster stone urns with dore bronze mounts, including handles, flame finial and pedestal decorated with rosettes and resting on animal paw feet. Each feature carved scenes of female muses with cherubs. They each measure 26" tall and 10" across and date from circa 1880. Overall condition is good. There are cracks visible down the front and rear of one urn which have been repaired...
This neoclassical dore bronze statue by Hans Keck (German, active 1890-1910s) depicts the Roman Minerva, holding a shield and sceptre, and standing on a blue stone mosaic on top of a stepped marble pedestal. Minerva (from the Greek Athena) was the goddess of warriors, poetry, medicine, wisdom, commerce, and inventor of music. It measures 17.5" tall and is signed in the cast "H Keck"...
Included here is a matching pair of tall, antique patinated and dore bronze candelabras, electrified in the early twentieth century with two bulb sockets. They feature four candle arms (which lack sockets and wiring) decorated with lotus leaves and neoclassical female masks. Sockets appear to have useable sockets and wiring, but each lamp lacks a cord and plug which we will be happy to add for a modest fee. One bobeche is missing and neither lamp has a finial...
Included here is a pair of matching antique cast bronze sconces in the neoclassical style, featuring green patinated finishes and enamel painted tole metal flowers. Each has candelabra sockets and candle covers, plus remnants of old wiring which must be replaced. (We can rewire for an additional cost.) Each measures 15.5" tall, 9.75" wide and 3.75" deep. These items reside in our client's gallery on the Upper East Side of Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen by appointment.
Included here is a matching pair of antique (nineteenth century), oriental powder blue porcelain vases with dore bronze foliate mounts, made into lamps in the early twentieth century. Their ornamentation is strictly organic in the manner of French Louis XV. The urns have a tapered form with knopped lid and pierced foliate mounts including rocaille lip and ruffle shaped feet. Each has two sockets and there are no finials. Each measures 17" tall and 10.5" across.
