Marvin Lipofsky Glass Sculpture 1976
This non-objective glass sculpture by Marvin Lipofsky ( features random linear decorations on a mirrored pink and silver ground. Etched signature with dedication to the artist's daughter, Lisa, in 1976. Condition is excellent with no cracks, losses, repairs or deep scratches. Lipofsky studied under Harvey Littleton at the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1962-1963, and is widely considered to be a leading figure in the emergence of the American studio glass movement in California where he was an instructor at the University of California at Berkeley. Dimensions: 9" H X 7.5" W X 7.8" D (22.9cm H X 19.1cm W X 19.7cm D).
