| This fine green patinated bronze sculpture by Salvatore Melani (French, 1902-1934) depicts a male hunter spearing a charging lion. Measures 37.5" wide, 8.75" deep and 18.5" high. Signed in the cast and set upon a black, grey and green variegated marble plinth. Weighs an estimated 40-60 lbs. Very good condition. There are some modest scrapes and wear to the patina, and the spear has some bends as well. | ||||||||
