This extraordinary Victorian period chandelier crafted from green and white overlay glass in the Bohemian fashion, features parcel-gilt green hurricane shaped shades and twelve candles. It dates from the last quarter of the nineteenth century and has been attributed to F.&C. Osler of Birmingham, England, and was designed for the Middle Eastern and/or Indian Moghul market.. Measures 35.5" across and 52" tall. Condition is very good. There is some wear the gilt decorations, a few missing and unmatched crystal pendants, minor losses and may have minor cracks or restorations.
