Artist is unknown, but this is a fine work, reminiscent of Cortes' influential "Parisien Street Scene at Nightfall". It dates from the early to mid twentieth century. Please note the beautiful use of yellow and orange color to depict the glow of street lamps and storefronts, which appear diffused by the the misty air. This is a complex scene that holds your attention. The street is filled with men, women and children, along with a man on horseback and a trolley car. Weight is approximately 8 lbs.
