| This lovely antique black papier mache pedestal table features a delightful rural scene with tall tree, shrubs, butterfly and a castle made from mother-of-pearl inlay. Scalloped edge features a repeating gold pattern. Measures 26.5" high (40" high with top in vertical position), 26.25" long and 22.5" wide. Top locks in place. This table is likely of continental (european) origin, not asian. Possibly French or English. There has been some restoration to the edges including the gold decoration. There is considerable crackling to the lacquered finish, but no chips nor loose areas in need of immediate repair or restoration. | ||||||||||||||
