| Included here is a pair of antique cast bronze sculptures depicting Greek or Roman robed females, likely intended to represent an allegory of science. Each measures 18" high, 6" wide and 6" deep. Each are estate-fresh and a bit dirty, but the patinas on each are great and reflect the age of the pieces. Each has a small hole in the rear of the upper back (one has been plugged) and there are recessed rectangular areas in the rear where possibly hardware or nameplates were originally intended. There are no foundry marks or signatures, but some numeric markings on the interior. These items reside with our client in northern New Jersey and may be seen in person by appointment. | ||||||||||||||
