| This Pk20 lounge chair by Poul Kjærholm (1929-1980) was purchased new in 2005 and is in near-mint condition. Designed in 1967, it was originally produced by Ejvind Kold Christensen. The Pk20 and most of Kjaerholm's designs have been made exclusively by Fritz Hansen of Denmark since 1982. The Pk20 features a chromium-plated spring steel base with matte finish, and a headrest cushion covered in natural leather in the Fritz Hansen "elegance" color (a walnut-shade of brown) to match the leather on the one-piece seat/seatback. The current Fritz Hansen catalog price for this chair with elegance leather is $11,949. The width is 31.5" (80.0 cm), the front edge of the seat measues 14.6" (37.1 cm) high, and the overall height is 35" (88.9 cm). The only visible flaw is a faint smudge on the front of the right leg as seen from the front.
