| Included here is a monumental pair of porcelain urns measuring 44" tall and 18.5" wide (111.8 cm and 47 cm), featuring painted scenes depicting muses on a cobalt blue ground, with the monogram of King Louis Philippe (1773-1850) on the reverse. They are believed to date from the late nineteenth century or possibly the period of Napoleon III (third quarter of the nineteenth century). Condition of each is exceptional, with no signs of restoration or damage. Provenance provided upon request.
