| Included here is a matching pair of Italian or French Empire Revival dore bronze and malachite stone center tables. They feature dramatic bronze mounts including neoclassical male monopodium legs with maidens ending in animal claw feet, and a frieze decorated with beeded molding, cornucopia and tied ribbon motifs, with inserted stone panels. Each measures 35" wide, 23" deep and 31.75" tall. We have not removed any of the mounts to inspect for markings. Tables are extremely heavy and structurally sound, with no damages or repairs. Condition of the gilded finish is excellent, but there are some small areas of noticeable corrosion, consistent with age. These tables reside with our client in midtown Manhattan ( New York City ) and may be seen in person by appointment. | ||||||||||||
