| This exceptional antique terracotta sculpture depicting a reclining putto dates from circa 1880, and has been attributed to Henri Dasson of Paris. Our attribution is based on a very similar lot attributed to Dasson by Sotheby's which sold in New York in lot 13 on April 19, 2007 for $9,000. The subject, condition, size and marble pedestal with bronze frieze are all very similar to the sculpture sold by Sotheby's. It measures 17.5" tall, 21" wide and 10" deep (44.4 by 53.3 by 25.4 cm). This item resides with our client on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York and may be seen by appointment. | ||||||||
