|Included here are three oil paintings on wooden board by the Hungarian artist, Imre Perlmutter (1892-). Boards measures 4.5" by 6" and frames each measure approximately 8" by 10" by 2". The first painting depicts a peasant woman with a basket of fruit hanging from her neck, who's holding a woven basket in her right hand. She's walking down a fence-lined country road. This is an excellent small painting on wooden board. The second painting depicts peasant woman reaching toward a large ceramic jug that's resting upon a wooden fence. The third painting depicts a woman peeling fruits or vegetables in a sparsely decorated kitchen. Note the wonderful, tiny details in the oil lamp, candlestick and other objects resting on the shelf in the background. On verso each carries the stamp of Magyar Nemzeti Galeria, the Hungarian National Gallery.|
