| Included in this Bacchanal themed garniture is a mantle clock and matching cassolettes made for and retailed by Tiffany and Company in the U.S. Each element is marked FRANCE and thus we estimate the set dates from as early at the 1890s or as late as the 1910s. The escapement is marked Tiffany & Co and the clock maker is unknown. Condition is excellent. Each element, including bronze mounts and marble surfaces, has been professionally cleaned and it appears the mounts on the cassolettes have been regilded. Escapement appears to be in working order but the key and pendulum are missing. Clock measures 20.25" wide, 15.5" tall and 5.25" deep. Cassolettes measure 14.25" tall, 5" wide and 4" deep. The cassolettes feature Bacchus masks and swags and the clock features patinated cherubs playing musical instruments. A dove surmounts the clock. | ||||||||||
