| Still life Woodblock print of Vase by Tomimoto Kenkichi (1886-1963.) Artist's Seal: "Tomi." Date: 1955. Publisher: Adachi Hanga. Medium: Woodblock Print. Impression: Very good, printed on long-fiber Japanese paper. Size: W. 32.5cm( 12.75") x H.42cm (16.5"). Tomimoto Kenkichi was best known as one of the most influential Japanese ceramic artists of the 20th Century. In 1955, he was designated as a "Ningen Kokuho" Holder of Intangible Cultural Propertiy, commonly known in the West as a "National Living Treasure" for his work in overglaze enameled ceramics.
