KEYSTONE WATCH Co. PAT. DUST PROOF FANCY CASE C: 1888 The Lancaster Watch Co. was reformed to create this company in 1886. In 1891 this company was sold to Hamilton Watch Co. The patented dust proof clear plastic over the balance was this companys claim to fame. This example is only a few serial numbers away from the movement illustrated in the current price guide on page 311 with a serial number of350,883. The original gold filled hunting case is marke4d “STANDARD” and was built for this movement. Extremely collectible, clean, running and accurate.

DIAL: Ivory Cellouid material with fine Arabic figures and signed: “Keystone Watch Co./PATENTED”. Gold original hands, mint and all original. Exctremely rare original dial. MOVEMENT: 18 size, hunting model, lever set, signed; “Keystone Watch Co./ PAT.DUST PROOF”, and “PAT. S.W. (Stem Wind), “ADJUSTED”, $350,883. Truly superb original condition, original to the case. CASE: Yellow gold filled fancy and not personalized. Signed: “STANDARD”. This case was built for this movement and is in excellent condition.
