*HAMILTON 17j GRADE 929 HUNTING 18 SIZE MODEL FACTORY SALESMANS DISPLAY Circa: 1897. Specially ordered and customized by an Ohio Jeweler; “E. Chatelai/ Millersburg, O.” Fine and rare early Hamilton Hunting Model. Low serial number 37,477. The nickel plates are unsigned except for the serial number and Hamilton name. Clean, running and accurate. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Single sunken white porcelain with Roman figures and signed at the Jewelers request: “E. Chatelai/ Millersburg, O.” Very light hairline exists on the right hand side of this dial, which is difficult to view and does not distract.
MOVEMENT:18 size, full plate nickel, Lever set, signed only with the no. 37,477, and the Hamilton name. All plates in remarkable original excellent condition.
CASE: Hamilton Factory snap back and bezel salesman’s display case signed: “Hamilton” On both bezels. Very nice.
