**South Bend 21 Jewels The STUDEBAKER Model 229 C: 1909. Rare. $2000.00 high book value. This model is the most desirable model South Bend produced in this size. The imperfect original double sunk dial establishes this low undervalued price. Clean, running and especially collectible. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. DIAL: Original White porcelain double sunken signed; “South Bend” in fine script. The chip repair and hairlines at 8 edge does not distract significantly.
MOVEMENT: 16 size, open face, lever set, Three finger nickel bridge model, lever set, Spinning Starburst damascening unique to this model, “21 Jewels”, “The STUDEBAKER”, “229”, “Adjusted to Temperature & Five Positions”, “DOUBLE ROLLER”, #598,564. Excellent original condition.
