Columbus KING 17j Fancy Dial Marked: COLUMBUS KING" Rare C: 1898 Extremely rare original “COLUMBUS KING” fancy dial. Columbus Watch Co. 1874-1903. The Columbus King Model was the top of the line and was sold as Railroad approved. In 1903 the Columbus W.Co. sold to the Studebaker and the South Bend Watch Co. started. All moved to South Bend Indiana. This example is very rare and is all original Clean, running and still accurate. this company and !THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. DIAL: Singel sunken fancy dial with original Flour-de-Le fancy hands and marked: “Columbus King”. Fine hairline at very bottom, which does not distract from this rare dial. MOVEMENT: 18 size, open face, lever set, “ADJUSTED”, 17 Jewels, “Columbus King”, #371,817. Excellent bold contrast with a damascening pattern unique to this model. This movement is original to this case. CASE: Screw back and bezel YGF fancy with even wear, shuts tight and is free of brass or dings. NOTE: Please view our return policy for exchanges and returns.
