Waltham 23j VANGUARD RF #3C Railroad Model Case 1935. Featured is both the fully marked dial and original Railroad Model gold filled case! This watch is in pristine overall condition and was the highest grade made by Waltham in 1935. Very clean, running and accurate. Especially collectible in this original combination. DIAL: White porcelain single sunken with bold Arabic signed: “WALTHAM/ VANTUARD 23 JEWELS”. Signle hairline at 8 edge does not distract. Original bold Black spade blued R.R. hands. MOVEMENT: 16 size, open face, lever set, Finger nickel bridge, 14k center wheel, all screw down jewel settings, “23 Jewels/ ADJUSTED 6 Positions”, “LOSSINER INNER TERMINAL HAIR SPRING” marked on the winding wheel, #28,879,458.
