Swiss One Quarter HOUR REPEATER Porcelain or so called: “Blinds Mans Watch” 59mm 1911. Rare. 59mm diameter without the cronw and 62mm in total length. 16mm thick. This beautiful Swiss one quarter hour repeater has been successfully applied to wear on the gentleman’s wrist. This custom case features exposition back, which is covered by beveled glass on the front and back. The case style is early 1950s and presents this rare Swiss Repeater on the wrist with the repeating activation through a slice lever on the case edge. This is for the watch collector that thought he had everything in a vintage watch. Clean, running and very laud clear chimes upon activation. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Original fancy gilt hands. White porcelain single sunken singed: “UTMOST”. Some imperfections at the very edge of this dial are hidden by the bezel as cased. Very nice. MOVEMENT: Three finger gilt bridge model, pendent set, 15 jewels, #17747. One quarter hour repeating function is activated by sliding or moving the lever located on the side of this case then releasing it. Fuction works very well with clear and pronounced chimes. CASE: Nickel plat Bombay 1950s style exposition case with beveled glass on both sides, which presents an easy view of this rare repeating movement.
