*NATIONAL WATCH Co. J.T. Ryerson 7j Key Wind C:1867. Rare. Serial No. 15110. First 6 months of production Fall of 1867. J.T. Ryerson was one of the founding fathers or corporate officier and had this model named after him. This famous American Watch manufacturer changed its name in 1873 to Elgin National Watch Co. And eventually produced 50 million watches. All original and running. Comes with a winding key. THIS IS A FINE COLLECTIBLE. DON'T INVEST IN THE STOCK MARKET. BUY SOMETHING PROVEN IN TIME.
DIAL: Mint white porcelain single sunken dial signed; “NATIONAL WATCH Co.” Mint rare original dial.
MOVEMENT: 18 size, full plate gilt, 7j, key wind and key set, No. Four (4) winding key, “J.T. Ryerson, Elgin, Ill”. No. 15110. Solid steel balance.
CASE: Nickel silver plain polished double hinged back and bezel key wind open face case. Excellent condition. Original beveled glass crystal.
