Offered for sale is this pair hibachi made of kiri wood (paulownia) with maki-e and MOP accents. The liners are copper and the pair hibachi come with their original wood storage box (the box's lift out front panel is missing a horizontal finger bar). The hibachi, charcoal braziers, are in overall very good condition with some minor loss of MOP and few stress lines in the lacquer. Dates first quarter of the 20th century or earlier. Offered for sale is this pair of cast iron sake kettles, chosi, with their wood storage box. The lids are lacquered wood and one lid is slightly larger and does not sit flush inside the recessed space. Both lids have lacquer chipping. The kettles were filled with water for 24 hours - they did not leak. Please note the rust. They date early 20th century.

Offered for sale is this bronze emaciated Buddha Shaka after finishing his 6 years of rigorous spiritual training in the Himalayas. He sits on a wood base which is probably not original but works very well for a stand. The stand has some loss and loosening of wood. The Arhat comes with its wood storage box. Dates Taisho or earlier.
