Offered for sale is this set of 10 individual lacquered luncheon/dinner trays. The trays come with their wood storage box which has a lift out front panel. The tray/stands are in overall good condition with very few lacquer chips or wear. They date mid Showa or earlier.

A bronze Hibachi attached to its wood platform. Gourds encircle the top opening, the handle rings are held by gourds and the hibachi sits on three gourd feet. An inscription details that this hibachi was presented to an employee at the Nange Middle School, 1953.

Offered for sale is this flower arranging basket, a Hanakago, made of split bamboo. It is signed, and possibly reads "Made by Jo Kaku". The basket dates from middle to early 20th century. The ceramic inset is not original to the basket. It is in good condition, with a small "loop" extending away from the basket.

It is in good condition with no chips or cracks. There is some loss of lacquer around the edges where the sumi inkstone sits.

A Japanese metal lantern with textured and frosted glass panels on each side. A swing door provides access to the lighting source's pricket which holds the candle. It is in overall good condition but please note that there is some discoloration to the metal roof and 2 strips of metal banding are loose which join at one corner. The stand which the metal fits over is wood. The metal is non ferrous and is probably copper. Dates 1950's or earlier.
