This silk and cotton han juban (half under kimono) is strikingly beautiful with its vibrant butterfly collar, katazome bamboo bodice and traditional fans/flower patterns in the sleeves. The sleeves and collar are made of silk with the sleeves lined in cotton. The body of the piece is made of fine cotton with paste-resist stenciling. There is discoloration on the front panels as well as some staining on the lining at the bust line level. There are 3 spots on front side, stains on the collar and slits in the collar fabric. Dates first half 20th century.

Fine bronze sculpture of a standing rooster atop a tree trunk with an unconcerned hen beneath him. It is a a two part sculpture with the base/hen and removable rooster who has two prongs which hold him in place. Dates from the 1950-1970"s. Weighs unpacked 7 pounds 14 ounces.

It also features 5 drawers to store tools, etc. Made of kiri wood and constructed with wood pegs. Please note that the replacement knobs are mismatched. See photo for condition of middle panel knob, shrinkage crack in 2 panels and also one wood panel which has some wood erosion. Dates circa 1920.
