Offered for sale is this tall, narrow and deep wood cabinet (bindarai) that was used by a barber to carry his tools of the trade to his client's locale. There is a large opening in the top to insert the fingers and thereby easily carry the cabinet. The cabinet has 5 drawers, an open divided space on top as well as a hinged lid that opens to a deep storage well. The cabinet is in overall good condition - each front drawer has a lighter space where tape was adhered to probably list contents. There is also loss of wood on an edge, black marks and loss of finish - please see photo. Dates early 20th century.
