Sake Barrel (Sakedaru) with Horns or Handles

Sake Barrel with cone-shaped peg for plug. It has painted kanji characters which would be the name of the shop and of the owner. The barrel staves are held in place with the woven bamboo rings. These were very meticulously crafted to hold the sake and used on special occasions.

We have another just like this one that's shorter, (22") and another with maroon lacquer that's 19-1/2" tall. Inquire for details and photos.
