Kiri Wood Hibachi Pair with Applied Gold

This is a fine pair of kiri wood hibachi sitting on lacquered bases. They have inserted copper firepans. They're decorated with gold lacquer and mother-of-pearl inlays on some of the flowers. Date from Meiji or Taisho period.
