This tall cast iron chagama, or kettle is subtly embossed with a dragon and a phoenix. The furo, or brazier contains a (newer) ceramic tile, and a trivet. It has been patched as many (most?) of the furo from this period have been. The furo has a cut-out in the side for access to the coal bed. Dimensions: Height: 13" Diameter: 12" |
