Mount Fuji wears a golden snowcap on this large festive sake keg or sake-daru. We have two of these Fuji kegs; the smaller is pictured, and they may have come from a restaurant. Black bamboo bands wrap the bright red barrel and it's topped with an oversize plug. Dates from the Showa Period, pre-1980. Dimensions: Height to top: 32" Height to rim: 15-1/2" Diameter: 10-1/2" |
