Shoki Demon Slayer or Queller of Kawara Clay

This Shoki stands clutching his beard in anticipation of any demons coming his way. He's made of the slate gray clay, or kawara, that's commonly used for roof tiles. There are holes on either side of the figure that are threaded with copper strands and presumably were used to attach him to something. He also stands nicely, a small but staunch presence with his ready sword.
