Te-aburi Hibachi in Seto Pottery
Ash and salt from the wood-fired kiln give much to the character of this hibachi. It's a hand-warmer, or te-aburi and has included a set of tongs for handling charcoal. A pair of fish lie on the top. There are three small holes in the bottom of the piece. This is an authentic and very interesting piece of yellow Seto pottery dating from the Meiji or Taisho period.
Height: 7"
Diameter: 9-1/2"
