The antlered stag and browsing doe are a wonderful pair of bronze garden statues. They're lifelike both in size and pose; they look like the deer at Nara. The stag's antlers are very realistic and may have been cast from actual antlers. They're substantial pieces: He weighs 60 lbs. and she weighs 41 lbs. Date from mid-century or earlier.
