| Potpourri made of silver and jade in the shape of a dragon, flames coming out of its groins. The silver is ornamented with filigreeing and transparent, colorful enamel. Around the opening a jade bracelet has been mounted. The inside gilded. Marked ‘silver’ on the belly. Beautiful and fine work in near perfect condition with some minor chips in the enamel on the flames and eyebrows. In these kinds of works the jade parts are usually older than the silver and enamel work. Height 2 ¾ inches, width 6 ½ inches. China, mid to later 20th century. | ||
