| Bag used for carrying a picnic set. Pieces of cotton patched together into a square shape with two triangular overlap tips for closure and a strap. On the outside various striped and other designs (kasuri and kata-zome) in indigo blue. On the inside patches of mainly solid indigo blue. Height 25 ½; width 17 inches (62 x 42,5 cm). Japan, Meiji period (around 1900). Some traces of usage, but still good condition. | ||
