Beige lacquer ground, decorated in gold and red hiramakie lacquer and sprinkled with gold powders with an all-over design of scattered maple leaves on stylized waves. Black lacquer interiors. Black bottom. Unsigned. Height 3” (7.7 cm), diameter 2 7/8” (7.3 cm). Purchased in Japan round 1990. Perfect condition
In wooden box (tomobako) 3 7/8 x 3 ½ x 3 ½ inches (10 x 9 x 9 cm), not matching. The box inscribed, signed and sealed at one side with the name KINSAI. This piece is located in Europe (EC). |
