Small shrine. Inside are the standing figures of Bishamonten and Kongo Yasha Myoo. Bishamon holds a pagoda and a halberd. Kongo Yasha Myoo used to hold vajra and bell and more attributes in his now missing four further hands. Both are standing on a rock which is placed on a pedestal and both have a small halo. Halos, attributes in gilt metal, figures and base in polychromed and gilded wood. Height 4 ¾ in. (12.8 cm). Japan, late Edo / early Meiji period. Inside: 4 missing arms to K.Y.Myoo. Case: dents and lacquer chips on edges. All damages acceptable as slight traces of usage.
