Well written introduction to the history of tobacco and the use of snuff bottles, followed by a description of the collection snuff bottles, organized according to material (hardstones, glass, porcelain, metal and organic). At the end there is a concordance list and a bibliography. No dust jacket, some paint stains on bottom of slipcase, otherwise in fine condition. |
