Lacquered circular wooden box containing red seal- paste. The wood grain pattern accentuated with gold powder. The natural wood grain accentuated with rubbed-in gold powders, covered with a protective layer of transparent Japanese lacquer (urushi). Signed at the base with an hexagonal seal imprint (unread). Around 1985. Height 1 1/8 in. (3 cm), diameter3 1/8 in. (8 cm), in inscribed and sealed wooden box. Perfect condition, as new. This piece is located in Europe (EC). |
