Ming Dynasty carved wood figure of a Lokapala or guardian king , this piece is interesting in that it had been in a fire and the temple decided to rework the piece by layering rice paper and re lacquering and gilding the piece, there are some remaining hair.Size H 12"

Ming Dynasty gilt wood ancestor figure of a grandfather , with an inscription from his grandson on the right side , the jacket detail is quite nice with small copper nailhead buttons . Some of his original magic herb still remain in the back secret compartment.Size 4" by 8.25" high
