Two brass/copper cigar cutters by German sculptor Ignatius Taschner 1871 - 1913. A parrot (rare find) and monkey. The parrot has the Taschner mark at the bottom. Both are in good condition although I believe the monkeys'tale is a replacement. Seperate purchase $ 275 for the parrot, $ 125 for the Monkey. Buying both gives a $ 50 discount.

Nice rare set of six hammered pewter Arts & Crafts mugs. Good condition. Late 19th. or early 20th. century. Marked: English - pewter and makers mark BL.B The B most likely stands for Birmingham. BL is unknown maker to me. The way the handles are attached to the rims of these mugs are not very common and are showing the typical Arts and crafts influences from for instance Archibald Knox or Christopher Dresser. H. 4"1'or 10.5 cm.

Beautiful porcelain figural perfume bottle. A lady of Royalty. 19th century continental. German or French. In good condition. No cracks or glued parts. Stopper is missing. (most likely a gold plated crownstopper) Height: 13.5 cm.

A first period Worcester bowl, circa 1760/70, Precipice pattern. Plain form and well decorated. Open crescent mark. 9" or 22.5 cm. H. 4" or 10 cm. Good condition, rings like a bell when tapped with thumb, minor wear. No restauration or repair.

This is a small orange/yellow coloured glass bottle with 4 postcard engravings of German sights/spa of the 1840's. Rare survivor and beautiful collectable. It says Hochbrunn, Kursahl, Platte b. Wiesbaden und Sm Kapelle. This suggests that the content was possibly some sort of healing well water. It has a small chip (less then a mm.) at the rim. see picture. A flaw at the bottom from when it was blown. Otherwise in very good condition. No cracks. H. 5" or 12.8 cm.

Nice and in good working condition brass birdshead paperclip. Numbered and makers or factory initials? Is missing one eye which can be replaced with a new one available at doll repair shops. Price reduced. 7"5 or 19 cm.

In nearly mint condition this castletop cardcase by Nathaniel Mills. Depiction of the Scott Memorial in Edinburgh. All the silvermarks are there. Lion,dutymark,NM makersmark,Birmingham, dateletter for 1844 and later 1Z mark which is possibly from a Dutch assay office.

Most likely a character from Charles Dickins' Oliver Twist. I think it's "the artful dodger Jack Dawkins". The bronze figure stands appr. 5" or 12.5 cm tall on a black marble base which has a small nibbel at the bottom corner. The bronze is in good condition, no dents or scratches. Unmarked.

A really lovely paperweight and table bell. It's a wonderful marriage of a wood with silver and brass inlaid paperweight with a small English bronze figure attached of a girl that is lifting the weight with all her strenght at the handle. With her cheeks blowing up she is really making an effort. With this paperweight comes a brass servant bell of a woman from the same Victorian period. Few small repairs to the paperweight but otherwise in good condition and no missing pieces...

Exquisit micro mosaic crucifix from the end of the 19th. century with 6 scenes of temples like the colloseum etc. It looks like a white metal but is probably bronze silvered. A few pieces of glass are missing but can be easily replaced by any jeweler. Measurements are appr. 8" x 4"8 or 20 x 12 cm. First enlargement is after the cross has been polished, the others are before. You can clearly see the difference. A professional cleaning will make this piece look brilliant.
